"Women on a Mission"
WMU Areas of Mission Focus:
1. Pray for and Provide for Missions throughout the world. 2. Perform Missionary work. 3. Learn about Missions and Missionary work. 4. Develope Spiritually toward a Missionaries lifestyle. 5. Participate in the work of the church and denomination.
Our group of women use the above Missions Focus as a guide for what we do. That is to provide, teach, study, help others and pray for the needs of those in the Missionary fields. The WMU motto is simply W.I.T. (whatever it takes), to witness to the world for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We support our missionaries by donations and by proceeds from such events as; Bake Sales, Yard Sales, etc. We donate, finacially to Annie Armstrong, Lottie Moon, Florida Childrens Home and several other Missions and Missionaries.
Our active Project Group meets twice monthly to make such items as;
1.Stuffed Animals for Police Cars and other childrens assistance fields. 2.Catheter Bag Covers for Disabled Veterans. 3.Heart Pillows for Cancer & Heart patients. As well as, other items.

WMU meets the first Tuesday each month at 6:00 PM EST in the social hall.
Mission projects group meets second Monday at 10:00 AM and fourth Monday at 6:00PM.
We invite all women 18 years old or older to come join WMU and our projects group. We are truly blessed and have joy in our hearts and would love to share our blessings with you ..There are jobs for everyone from lacing ribbon ,cutting ,ironing to sewing, quilting, crocheting knitting and praying for our workers and for the people that receive the items we make.
