 PASTORAL
SUPPORT

YOU DON’T HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT ALONE.

Life can get complicated.

Relationships hurt. Patterns get hard to break. Sometimes we know something needs to change, but we can’t quite see what’s keeping us stuck or what the next step looks like.

Pastoral Support is a safe place to slow down, get honest about what’s happening, invite the Holy Spirit into the process, and begin moving toward greater freedom, health, and connection.

You bring your story.
We’ll come alongside you.

Pastoral Support sessions are offered weekly in Encinitas.

Flock Of Birds

There are seasons when we all need someone to walk alongside us.

Pastoral Support exists to help you recognize what may be happening beneath the surface, hear truth in the places where fear, pain, or old patterns have gotten loud, and discover healthy next steps forward.

Our goal isn’t to make decisions for you. It’s to help you become increasingly free, healthy, connected, and confident in partnering with God in your own life.

WHOLENESS

We’re not here to become the voice you depend on...
We’re here to help you recognize the truth, wisdom,
and presence of God in your own story.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?

01

NAME WHAT’S HAPPENING.

Together, we’ll slow things down and ask thoughtful questions to help bring clarity to what you’re experiencing and what may be happening beneath the surface.

02

INVITE GOD
INTO IT.

Through conversation, prayer, Scripture, and listening to the Holy Spirit, we’ll explore the beliefs, pain, patterns, forgiveness, or relational dynamics that may be keeping you stuck.

03

CHOOSE YOUR NEXT STEP.

Freedom becomes powerful when we learn to walk it out. Together, we’ll identify practical ways you can respond, build healthier patterns, and continue partnering with what God is doing in your life.

You won’t be sitting across from someone whose job is to “fix” you.

A Pastoral Support team typically includes two to three trained ministers. One person will lead the conversation while the others support through prayer and discernment

PASTORAL SUPPORT IS:

A Christ-centered ministry environment for prayer, biblical wisdom, spiritual growth, relational health, discernment, forgiveness, and taking healthy next steps.

PASTORAL SUPPORT IS NOT:

Professional psychotherapy, clinical mental-health treatment, or a replacement for care from a licensed counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, physician, or other qualified healthcare provider when that level of support is needed.

Our Pastoral Support ministers are trained in ministry and spiritual care, but they are not acting as licensed clinical therapists.

When needs fall outside the scope of pastoral ministry, we believe connecting people with qualified professional care is a wise and healthy next step.

CARE SHOULD STAY ACCESSIBLE.

There is a suggested donation of $35 per Pastoral Support session, which helps us continue making this ministry available to our community.

But finances should never be the reason someone doesn't receive support.

Come whether you can give or not.

THE PEOPLE WHO’LL WALK WITH YOU.

Our Pastoral Support team is made up of trained ministers who love Jesus, love people, and believe deeply in creating safe spaces for honesty, healing, growth, and freedom.

They aren't here to have all the answers or make decisions for you. They're here to listen well, pray with you, ask good questions, and help you partner with what God is doing in your life.

MORE SUPPORT FOR THE JOURNEY

Some members of our Pastoral Support team also serve professionally in counseling and other areas of care. These services are separate from Beach Chapel Pastoral Support and may involve their own scheduling, fees, and scope of care.
